3D: A Few of my Favorite Things

1/30/2026

In order of left to right.

The Duck Girl
A thrifted music box of a girl holding her pet duck. I am thoroughly convinced she is conscious (long story) and we have a very friendly relationship. She enjoys my company and  has always been friendly.

Ceramic Birdie
I saw his little face looking up at me at the Wild Birds Unlimited off SR 16 and thought “...He is coming home with me.” And he continues to be one of my favorite purchases ever.

Crystal Candleholder
A Christmas gift from my (somewhat lovable somewhat maniacal) aunt that reflects beautiful shimmers all over the walls at sunset. She has a matching, shorter sister but I excluded her from the image.

Carousel Music Box
A resin music box that spins when it plays music! I saw it at an antique store with my beloved girlfriend and told her “Get that for me for my Birthday/Christmas.” And she did! I love it.

The Original Speck
As a child in a family of generational clock repairmen/collectors, I was often dragged along on clock shopping/antiquing trips with my father and brother. My father bought me the original (small) Speck as a reward for my patience, making it my first ever clock!

The Big Speck
Years later, my father was clock shopping and found the big Speck. He called me and was like “I don’t know when we’ll find another one of these… If you want it I’ll get it for you!” and I said yes!

Snail
My snuggly best friend who I cherish. He is simply referred to as Snail, although he is a strange snail. His body is rectangular and he is surprisingly not very snailish. He is soft though.
